Working with Ryan to create his brand was amazing. He is a passionate human with an unbelievable skillset and knowledge of the game. His logo is formed from a photo taken of him shooting. We wanted it to be personal and a reflection of himself.

As a University of Utah and Rick Majerus recruit in 2003 and University of Wisconsin at Green Bay graduate in 2007, Ryan experienced basketball at some of the highest levels and understands the commitment necessary to achieve and exceed personal goals. Trans Island Maritime is a marine transportation service in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They wanted their logo to include a propeller, clearly representing the tug and barge business. Additionally the color blue to be dominant since it is an ocean going vessel. I explored different shades of blue to create a sense of movement within the design to further support transportation.
Brittany Lussi is an educator of doTERRA essential oils & advocate for health and wellness. She was looking for a way to brand herself in the ever growing essential oils business and wanted to stand apart from others.
From DSM to STX, Max lives her life guided by curiosity and living in the present. Her knowledge is continually growing with 200 RYT and in the process of 500h medicine training. Max imagined a logo that would represent and describe who she was as an individual and as a teacher. We came up with words that described her and her practice; freedom, adventure, and movement. The words began to transform and became the visual representation of who and what Max Smith Yoga is. If you are ever on island check her out!
The goal with this logo design was to transform the already recognized brand to support a local community event here in Des Moines. Below is the original ValorFit logo.

Hickory Ridge Customs is known for their product and designs of artisan Sean Wood. Each piece is custom made using old world repurposed materials right here in Iowa. Sean wanted something that could reiterate his method of reusing materials to create one of a kind, custom pieces with various woods and metals.
I created a logo that represents the partnership created between lululemon Des Moines Here to Be program and Yoga For First Responders.
Here to Be is lululemon's community based social impact program that makes the healing benefits of yoga and meditation accessible through best-in-class nonprofit partnerships. lululemon chose to partner with Yoga For First Responders this year.
The aim of this program is to empower our domestic soldiers (EMS, Firefighters, Police Officers) with powerful mindfulness practices for cultivating resilience to stress and peak performance on the job.
By bringing yoga, meditation and mindfulness training to first responders across the nation, we can offer these individuals valuable tools to help them stay present and observant of their minds and bodies at times of intense stress.
These practices can also support individuals who are experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress or secondary traumatic stress due to the life-or-death situations they face in the line of duty.
I rebranded CTC in 2014 and I have been working with them ever since! The top image was taken by the local newspaper in Ripon, Wisconsin when new ownership took over at the local heating and air-conditioning business in town. The bottom image was taken after rebranding.
Serving the central Wisconsin area for more than 47 years, Condon Total Comfort, Inc. (CTC) has established an unmatched reputation as a full-service residential and commercial heating and air conditioning dealer qualified to service all makes and models. The CTC company family continues to earn the trust of homeowners in the Ripon area from Green Lake to Fond du Lac, Oshkosh to Appleton and everywhere in between. Whether it's time for something new or for maintenance and repair, let their team of experienced, trained experts help keep your home cozy or comfortable all year long.

Worked closely with Abbie Mork and Annie Brees to create a powerful logo to represent not only the push/pull powerlifting event but the strength behind it this non-profit organization. It's been said that when women support other women, incredible things happen and that's precisely the mission behind the Women's Barbell Classic. Each year, Women’s Barbell Classic will choose a different local cause to support. To find out more visit https://www.womensbarbellclassic.com/.
The shirt created for this group is for members of the lululemon Des Moines tribe to wear to their group sweat events. Each week they share where they are sweating in hopes that people in the community venture to a new gym or studio with their friends. All in all, this group allows the company to grow together both on and off of the yoga mat.
The goal of this group is to connect with the community through the power of sweat. As many of you know, the team at lululemon Des Moines is in constant sweat at studios and gyms across this beautiful city, and they want you to join them.
Queer Bar Takeover DSM is quickly expanding and the event attendance continues to grow. With such amazing turnouts, the founders wanted to provide their guests with opportunity to pose on their own red carpet and capture amazing event photos in front of a step and repeat backdrop.
I created three shirt designs for the lululemon Des Moines Sweat Collective event. The Sweat Collective is a community built of the world's sweatiest leaders. This event was put together to support and celebrate those leaders and they wanted to create an experience. These designs were options that each member could select and then print themselves. The Design Garage supported the experience and brought their mobile print shop in order to do so.
Lululemon Des Moines donated custom BlenderBottles® to all of the CrossFit 515 Wingman Challenge competition competitors held by one of their current ambassadors. We collaborated and came up with something simple that focused on Des Moines and weightlifting.
My role with Freedom Church was to help with all print and graphic creation for social media and events.
This flyer’s intention is to show off the best places to sweat, connect and eat in Des Moines. Guests that walk through lululemon Des Moines travel from all over the state of Iowa just to shop there. They tend to explore and want to know the must do's in DSM.
I created multiple Wags Ankeny flyers, print advertisements for ZagaZig Magazine, and social media graphics for events.
The lululemon team started a book club and wanted something to represent the group. I creatively modified the original lululemon logo while staying within brand standards to reflect the group.
Meghan and I collaborated to create a logo that reflected her personality and mission. Meghan is dedicated to human greatness. She believes with every fiber of her being that every person has unique individual gifts to offer this world. And the world needs those gifts.
She leads workshops that are the catalyst for identifying, defining, and embodying that which makes you; the greatest version of yourself.
I worked closely with Kari Tietjen to create the Day on the Hill event logo. Simple, bold and bright to catch attention. Iowa APSE is a growing organization with representation from all regions of the state. APSE members are supported employment professionals, supported employees, family members, employers, rehabilitations counselors, advocates and others with an interest in employment for persons with disabilities.
What better way than to run a race with some cheeky comments on your back! Working with lululemon Des Moines is always fun and exciting, they are always finding ways to be more creative and unique.
Snatchbacks & Tattoos is a CrossFit apparel company and was in need of a 4th of July Uncle Sam shirt design.
St. Dominic Mission Church is based out of Rio Verde, Arizona. They decided it was time to create a website. They wanted it to be simple and easy to use for their older demographic and an easier way to communicate between grounds and share events. Due to the lack of online presence at the time, St. Dominic Mission was eager to get up and running to hopefully reach new people and increase church members involvement. To view the website visit www.stdominicmission.org.
These are initial website layouts for Red Fusion Studios website reconstruction. Red Fusion Studios is a fully integrated new product research and innovation laboratory that works with companies at every phase of the process to create new products that drive top-line growth. I wanted to create a layout that directly reflected that process and cleanly articulated their services.
